Great thoughts speak only to a thoughtful mind, but great actions speak to all humankind. How do great actions speak to all humankind?
Great thoughts speak to a thoughtful mind because they’re only thoughts. They will become great actions if one would share or do their thoughts. A good quote that backs up this idea is “actions speak louder than words”. Great actions do speak to all mankind. Great actions could help the world, even if they are small good deeds. A great thought wouldn’t change anything but ones mind frame. A great action could cause a chain of other good actions/reactions. All of these actions would change the world in one way, leading a change to all humankind.
Humankind as progressed a huge amount since it’s beginning. If you truly think about it, all people started out with nothing but sticks and stones. They started out with their natural resources and used them to its full extent. These cavemen evolved the way that they have from coming up with great ideas, and turning them into great actions. If they have never had any good ideas, we would still be living in caves like cavemen.
This also helps prove the theory of evolution. If you compare humankind from 200 B.C. to current 2009, there’s obviously a drastic change. Everything has changed from the way we live, eat, dress, think, and spend our leisure time. The way that we all communicate has changed a lot too. More than just people can speak to humankind. Events, history, news, and actions will speak to all humankind too.
A thought cannot speak to humankind because it will only be a thought. If every single great thought had been made into an action, this world would not be as we know of it now. There are a lot of people out there who could have changed the world and get credit from ideas and thoughts they have gotten. Every great action will inspire more great thoughts. This non ending cycle is what got us where we are today. Who knows what the future will be like.
Most of our nations great actions are shown to us via television, news, telephone, and the internet. All of these resources speak to everyone. This is how we find out about what goes on in the world. Great
